The global increase in plastic product usage has resulted in significant waste generation, which gradually degrades into smaller particles known as microplastics. These microplastics accumulate in natural environments, including air and water, as well as within the bodies of animals and humans. Consequently, researchers are actively investigating solutions to this critical pollution issue. This activity aims to utilize a stereomicroscope to quantify microplastics in drinking water and to characterize their color and size.
