The agenda of the official visit includes not only political meetings between the President of the Republic of Lithuania and the top Australian heads of state, moreover, a great deal of attention will be paid to educational matters.
In Melbourne, the President of the Republic of Lithuania and the members of the delegation accompanying him attended the opening of the first Victoria – Lithuania Business, Science, and Research Forum. The programme of the visit also includes a visit to the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology as well as meetings with Lithuanian Australian communities and Lithuanian honorary consuls.
