The European University Sports Association is in regular contact with national sports federations, coordinating competitions, conferences, mass sports events, and other activities at both university and national level. One of EUSA's biggest events is the biennial European University Games, where most capable European university teams compete in different types of sports. The organisation also promotes and supports measures to protect the health of athletes, combats doping in sports, and promotes the ideals and importance of university sports across Europe in close cooperation with the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and other European organisations.
KU has for some time already participated in EUSA sports events. The Association's championships provide students with the opportunity to compete internationally and thus simultaneously enrich their experience in other fields than sports.
