EU-CONEXUS Micro-credential “Search Fund: Becoming a CEO through Acquisition” for Master’s students

Do you aspire not only to lead a business, but also to own one? EU-CONEXUS offers a Master’s level micro-credential titled “Search Fund: Becoming a CEO through Acquisition”, designed for students interested in acquiring and managing small or family-owned businesses.

The programme introduces participants to the search fund model – a structured pathway to becoming a company owner and CEO through acquisition. It provides practical insights into identifying suitable businesses, negotiating deals, closing acquisitions, and leading companies towards sustainable growth.

Learning outcomes

During the programme, participants will develop competencies in:

  • preparing investor-ready materials and business proposals,
  • business search, evaluation, and negotiation processes,
  • deal execution and transition into leadership roles,
  • long-term value creation, growth strategies, or exit planning.
