Do you agree that winter has overstayed its welcome? Isn’t it time to chase it out of the yard?
On February 17, we invite everyone to KUžgavėnės – a joyful celebration marking the end of winter!
During the event:
• We will sing together with the Klaipėda University vocal ensemble “Jūros ainės” – this will be the ensemble’s first appearance at the Užgavėnės celebration at the KU Botanical Garden!
• We will dance together with the Klaipėda University folk art ensemble“Vytinė.”
• We will enjoy pancakes baked by the teachers of Klaipėda Ernesto Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre and taste herbal tea made from herbs grown in the KU Botanical Garden.
• We will celebrate with our wonderful host – actress Assoc. Prof. Virginija Kochanskytė, who has prepared games and cheerful activities.
And, of course, we will burn Morė!
