Abstract (en)
This article focuses on the conceptions and opinions of medical personnel in Lithuania concerning people with AIDS. Results of a random survey of female and male nurses are given. Answers to the questionnaires determined that the medical personnel were fully aware of the paths of HIV infection, however, more should be educated concerning the dangers of transmission of HIV to the fetus. The majority of respondents reported that they feared being infected even though most replied that they took preventive measures.
