Razbadauskas, Artūras

Artūras Razbadauskas is a Professor of Medicine and Health Sciences in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Klaipeda University (KU). He was leading KU Department of Nursing (2001-1009) also, he was the Dean of KU Faculty of Health (2009-2018). Since 2018 he is the Rector of Klaipeda University. All this time he is working as a clinic surgeon in Seamen‘s Hospital (now - Klaipėda University Hospital) in Klaipeda and as the Head of Surgery Clinics of Seamen‘s Hospital (2003-2019). Artūras Razbadauskas is actively working as senior researcher in different national and international projects. He has expertise working as academic Editor in “BioMed Research International Journal” (Hindawi) (since 2020) and Lead Editor of Special Issue in “Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine Journal” (Hindawi) (since 2021). He successfully supervised three PhD Students, studying in Nursing at Tampere University and Turku University (Finland) in the period of 2006-2019. A. Razbadauskas has published 180 original scientific articles, out of them 39 are indexed in WoS and Scopus. A. Razbadauskas is actively working in different national and international public organizations which are dealing with public health issues: World Health Organization European Healthy Cities Network Political Committee (since 2020), Member of National Health Council (since 2013), Member of the Committee of Health and Social Affairs of Klaipėda City Municipality (2015-2019), Chairman of the Community Health Council of Klaipėda City Municipality (since 2011) and others.
