Išplėstinės praktikos slaugos (IPS) magistrantūros programa yra aktuali, reaguojant į valstybės mastu keliamą problemą dėl didėjančio slaugytojų poreikio ir jų veiklos kaitos pobūdžio. IPS magistro pakopos studijų programos (MA) įgyvendinimas daugelyje šalies regionų, didinant regioninį prieinamumą studijoms, yra prielaida prisidėti prie regiono sveikatos priežiūros kokybės gerinimo, ieškant efektyvaus IP slaugytojų integravimo į sveikatos priežiūros sistemą modelio. Šiuo metu IP slaugytojai rengiami tik dviejuose universitetuose, esančiuose Kauno ir Vilniaus apskrityse. Geografine ir ekonomine prasme, tai yra nemenkas ribotumas bei iššūkis Klaipėdos ir kitų geografiškai artimų apskričių slaugytojams, norintiems studijuoti ir derinti studijas su darbu. Tyrimo klausimai: „Kuo IPS MA studijų programa, parengta Klaipėdos universitete, aktuali visuomenės ir darbo rinkos poreikiams Lietuvoje?“, „Kokios numatomos IPS MA absolventų kompetencijų ir veiklos charakteristikos sveikatos priežiūros sistemoje?“, „Kokios KU parengtos IPS MA studijų programos charakteristikos yra susijusios su tarptautiniais aukštojo mokslo dokumentais, įtvirtinančiais programos tarptautiškumą? “ Konceptualaus ir dokumentinio integruoto tyrimo tikslas − analizuoti, atskleisti ir apibendrinti magistrantūros lygmens išplėstinės praktikos slaugos studijų programos bruožus, atspindinčius jos pritaikomumą vietos ir tarptautiniam kontekstui. Tyrime taikyta aprašomoji mokslo šaltinių analizė ir aprašomoji dokumentų analizė. Išvados. IPS MA studijų programa suteikia žinių apie pažangias teorijas, formuoja lyderystės gebėjimus, reikalingus klestėti kompleksinėje sveikatos priežiūros aplinkoje, atitikti naujus kompetencijos standartus ir patenkinti besikeičiančius pacientų ir gyventojų sveikatos poreikius. IPS MA studijų programa, pasižyminti originalumu ir unikalumu, prisideda prie regiono ir šalies sveikatos apsaugos sistemos intelektualinio bei ekspertinio potencialo formavimo.Tai yra tiesioginis indėlis į šios sistemos kokybės ir efektyvumo strategijų formavimą bei realų planavimą.
The Advanced Practice Nursing master’s program (APN MA) is relevant in response to the statewide problem of the growing demand for nurses and the changing nature of their work. The implementation of the IPS master’s degree study program in most regions of the country, strengthening regional access to studies, is a prerequisite for contributing to the quality of healthcare in the region, in search of an effective model for the integration of IP nurses into the healthcare system. Now, training IP nurses in only two universities, which are located in Kaunas and Vilnius counties, in a geographical and economic sense, there is a considerable limitation and challenge for the nurses of Klaipėda and other counties geographically located at an optimal distance from the Klaipėda region to study and combine studies and work. Research questions: “What is intended to be carried out by the IPS master’s level study program prepared at Klaipėda University, relevant to the needs of society and the labor market in Lithuania?” What are the intended characteristics of the competences and activities of graduates of the IPS master’s degree in the health care system? The purpose of the conceptual and documentary integrated research is to analyze, reveal and summarize the features of the advanced practice nursing study program at the master’s level, reflecting its applicability to local and international contexts. The research used descriptive analysis of scientific sources and descriptive analysis of documents. Literature review and document analysis revealed that nurses with Master’s degree in advanced practice nursing (APN MA) are able to provide direct patient care at an advanced level, conduct research, teach online and in the classroom, impact public policy, lead health systems, consult with corporations, and implement evidence-based solutions that revolutionize health care. APN MA provides the knowledge of advanced theories, leadership capabilities needed to thrive in a complex health care environment, meet new competency standards, and address the evolving health needs of patients and populations. The APN MA study programme with its originality and uniqueness, contributes to the formation of the intellectual and expert potential of the region and the country for the health care system, which is a direct contribution to the strategizing and realistic planning of the quality and efficiency of this system.
