Many national minorities have been living in Lithuania since the ancient times. Some of them come from the neighboring others from more remote countries. All the nationalities have not only got well adjusted to the new living environment but have contributed to the Lithuanian culture, art and economy. The article presents the analysis of the history of their appearance in Lithuania, their population and geographical distribution.
