The aim of the study was to review the paradigm of social stress in healthcare, to estimate work stressors, its reasons, outcomes influence on healthcare and to establish possibilities stress prevention. Material and methods. The study included 136 respondents (52 physicians and 84 nurses) from 5 healthcare organizations. Information was collected via questionnaires (response rate was 91%). Results. The main factors of social stress in healthcare were healthcare system’s factors and poor financing (77,9%), inadequate income (59,5%), threatening unemployment (16,2%). They impact high load of work, collar-work, pressure of patients. Conclusion. 1. The main components of social stress in healthcare paradigm were disclosing systemics and organizationals reasons of stress, understanding and prognosing process of stress, establishment it impact on right healthcare and management. 2. The factors of healthcare system – poor financing, inadequate income, threatening unemployment – the main ingredients of social, stress in ambulatory healthcare; the frequent work stressors making impact on right healthcare an't it quality – high load of work and collar-work. 3. An increase of healthcare financing, decrease load of work, stress management programmers are powerful means and instruments of stress prevention.
