Straipsnyje nagrinėjami veiksniai, darantys įtaką inovacijų diegimui Lietuvos viešbučių versle. Sprendžiama mokslinė problema: kokie inovacijų diegimo veiksniai aktualiausi Lietuvos viešbučių versle. Taikant ekspertinio vertinimo ir apklausos metodus atliekamas inovacijų diegimą lemiančių veiksnių vertinimas. Nustatyti svarbiausi inovacijų diegimą lemiantys veiksniai: rinkos imlumas, materialiniai ir finansiniai įmonės ištekliai. Inovacijų diegimą Lietuvos viešbučiuose labiausiai skatina konkurentai ir klientai. Pateikiamos rekomendacijos, kaip gerinti inovacinę veiklą Lietuvos viešbučių versle.
In the contemporary world, innovations occupy an important part in all kinds of activities. Currently, innovations are being rapidly introduced in major industrial enterprises, in the industries of aerospace, oil, and gas, an in the fields of biochemistry and ICT, however, they are no less important in the industry of tourism which covers a number of business fields, including the hotel business. The evaluation of innovation determinants in the Lithuanian hotel business means complex and, in many respects, even contradictory processes that call for justified and competently developed management tools. The general goal in the hotel business is to remain competitive due to one’s exclusive advantages, and one of the principal sources of a competitive advantage is the application of innovations and the development of innovative products and services, as innovations are increasingly frequently seen as the main source of the competitive advantage. Under the current market conditions, entrepreneurs are forced to find ways for the implementation of innovative activities in order to expand their opportunities, to keep improving, to change, and to achieve excellent results in meeting client needs. Innovative activity is a criterion of success for economic growth and social welfare, based on progress, which encourages the development of business enterprises. It permeates the social change processes and, in turn, encourages new innovations. The review of scientific literature sources witnesses that the majority of publications deal with innovations and the process of their inculcation, while the determinants of innovation inculcation receive less attention.
