Abstract (en)
In present times, there are many ecological engineering methods which provide efficient waste utilization with heat production and minimize air and water pollution. The analysis of the main parameters of goods, energy and waste production can help in the determination of the right method for benefitting ecology and economy. Instead of using timber as energy source for a Klapeida electric power station, the use of wood wastes can save the station of 900235,91 Lt. per year. There will be reduced air and sewage dust pollution and the storing quantity of wood wastes in the timber area will be lessened. The use of natural fuel resources will also be economized. Wood waste combustion will also increase nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide.
