Born in Klaipeda. Education: Graduated from Kristijonas Donelaitis Secondary School and in the same year entered the Ship Machinery and Mechanisms study program of Kaunas Polytechnic Institute (currently Kaunas University of Technology) Klaipeda Faculty, Lithuania. Graduated it as a mechanical engineer in ship engineering field. In 1995, she entered the doctoral program in Transport Engineering of Kaunas University of Technology, which she graduated in 2000. After defending the PhD thesis, the Doctor of Technology degree was awarded. Training: In 2005, Academic English at Bradford College, U.K. In 2007, European Welding Engineer/ International Welding Engineer course by IIW Authorised training Body for Germany DVS PERSZERT. Diplomas awarded - European Welding Engineer and International Welding Engineer. In 2012, International Welding Inspection Personnel course by IIW Authorised training Body for Germany DVS PERSZERT. Diploma awarded - International Welding Inspector, Comprehensive level. Work experience: 1984-1987: Technical Service Base of the State Trawl Fleet Base, surveyor, engineer technologist. 1987-1995: Klaipėda Polytechnics, later renamed Klaipeda Higher Technical School, currently Klaipeda State College, teacher. Since 1993 till now- teacher of Klaipeda University.2022-2007 - Vice dean of the Faculty of Marine Engineering. 2007-2021 - dean of the Faculty of Marine Technics, which was named after Faculty of Marine Technology and Natural Sciences in 2015. Since 2021 until now - head of Marine Engineering Department. Project activities: project manager of international (LdV, ERASMUS, ERASMUS+, FP6,7, Horizon) and national educational and R&D projects.
