Abstract
Disertacijoje, naudojant konstruktyvistinės grindžiamosios teorijos pagal K. Charmaz prieigą, pateikiama sukonstruota, empiriniais tyrimo duomenimis grįsta „sąmoningo atgręžimo į mokymąsi“ teorija, kurioje atskleidžiama kaip mokytojai įgalina pradinių klasių mokinius reflektuoti apie mokymąsi lietuvių kalbos pamokose, t.y. kokie instrumentai yra siūlomi bei kokie procesai tuomet vyksta. Pirmojoje disertacijos dalyje aptariamos filosofinės refleksijos ištakos nuo Antikos iki XX a.
The dissertation consists of a few parts: a discussion of philosophical origins of reflection from Antiquity to the 20th century; the methodology part; the research findings; the presentation of the developed GT and a description of its relation to the most important theories of the 20th-21st century on reflection and reflecting while learning; a discussion. The part of philosophical origins of reflection from Antiquity to the 20th century, discusses philosophical ideas that were among the most significant in the development of the concept of reflection and reflecting. The research methodology part includes the constructivist GT epistemology, the sample, the methods of data collection and analysis, the ethics, and research limitations. The part dealing with the research findings discusses GT categories, subcategories, and the dimensions that characterise them. After the methodology part, the grounded theory of “conscious directing to learning”, constructed during the research and based on empirical data, is provided; and its position in the context of the main theories of the 20th-21st century on reflection and reflecting while learning is revealed. In the discussion part, the findings of the empirical research are discussed while comparing them with the ideas of philosophers and scholars on reflection; the enablement to reflect; the significance of reflection; the ability to reflect for human cognition; and the importance of language in this process. The discussion part describes the novelty of the constructed grounded theory of “conscious directing to learning”, provides recommendations to the authors of publications intended for the Lithuanian language teaching, to the developers of online learning environments, digital aids and platforms, and to primary school teachers.
