As the conference thematic describes today it seems science determines the welfare of human society. In the face of modernization and globalization, scientific and technological development must be guided by ethical norms and principles so as to keep the world safe. We are facing tremendous ethical challenges posed by the modern technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI). The application of modern technologies and AI in medicine is not merely based on techniques and skills but more importantly involved in cognitive psychology, neurology, genetics, philosophy, linguistics, mathematics, logic, communication, etc. According to scientific data, usually modern technologies and AI are regulated by laws of a country. Howewer, tradition, religion and cultural heritage should also be taken into consideration when making such laws. Interdisciplinarity research and technological advances can change people‘s attitudes about medicine and health care, and raise questions on the boundaries of intervention in personal and public life, because they are concerned with existential issues.
