The Application fee for degree study programmes is for citizens of the EU member states or countries of the European Economic Area (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan), as well as those who have a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania: €55. The main objective of the programme is to prepare highly qualified marine environment engineers with deep knowledge of environmental engineering and interdisciplinary skills, who will be capable of applying research methods for sustainable marine and coastal development, of assessing both global and individual corporate environmental issues, of making recommendations on how to improve environmental performance, and of working in an international environment.

Career opportunities

Graduates of Marine Environment Engineering can work in a variety of marine infrastructure companies, environmental management and control institutions, private environmental firms, research and design institutes, science centres, higher education institutions. After gaining additional managerial and practical experience, an individual can work as a company or its affiliate manager or as a project manager.

Infrastructure

As for the study infrastructure, the Faculty has ensured good working and study conditions for students. Students can conduct research in three research laboratories. The amount of equipment is sufficient for the intended laboratory work / research. In addition, students can work in the labs of the marine Research Institute.

Entry qualification

A university Bachelor’s degree in technology, physical and biomedical sciences or a Bachelor’s degree in another field plus a work experience of at least 2 years of the chosen Master’s study area with a good average grade (min. CGPA>60%)
