Today, Ms. Akansha Sharma, Coordinator of the project Study in Lithuania Center from an Agency for International Studies in India, paid a visit to Klaipėda University. She had a meeting with prof. dr. Leta Dromantienė, KU Vice-Rector for Studies, assoc. prof. dr. Rasa Viederytė, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Marine Technologies and Natural Sciences, Inga Petrauskienė, Head of the Department of Marketing and International Relations, and Kristina Mataitienė, Coordinator for International Studies and Incoming Students.
Coordinator of the project Study in Lithuania Center Ms. Akansha Sharma and KU representatives had a dicussion on the admission procedures for foreign students. Ms. Sharma emphasised that students from India are mainly interested in the KU study programmes of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management, and Tourism. Moreover, they are interested in the LNG Terminal Engineering, as this area is promising all over the world.
Currently, 39 citizens from India study at Klaipėda University. Foreign students can be admitted to KU for the spring semester, and presently the admissions process is underway.
