TOOLS is a dance project lead by lithuanian and french artists. It’s an artistic laboratory mixing people from different background. Led by french choreographer Alban Richard and dance company “PADI DAPI Fish“ it’s a creative program that enables people from different fields to share tools from their expertise.
TOOLS is experiencing, prototyping, learning. It deals with an omni-disciplinarily approach concerning the body in motion, the body on stage, the body in the city. TOOLS will try to invent a place like a NEST: a home for choreographers, dancers, searchers, artists and entrepreneurs, a sensible place that is constantly connecting different people, even inhabitants, to share workshops, lectures, conference, performances…
Part think tank, part community center and public gathering space, TOOLS deals with new ways of thinking the body in the urban life and how dance could be a tool for well-being working for example.
