The gap between the 21th century Lithuanian elite and Vincas Kudirka ideas as well as failure to solve social problems in spirit of idealistic commitments and dedication is critically assessed here. One lesson of Kudirka is the hardest one to learn - to feel a respectable nation able to cope with villain diffidence and crowd instincts. In this regard, Kudirkas ideas surpass the stiff education system of modern Lithuania and bureaucratic institutions of civil society education; they remain important in front of revival of proudly-Russian nationalism and danger of messianism. Through his strict criticism of Lithuanian consciousness immaturity, Kudirka teaches to resist the political, moral, social, and any other evil. Until now, the civil democracy lessons of Kudirka guide most prominent Lithuanian figures.
