Abstract
The data of the European Comission shows that 40% of tourists in Europe have cultural interests. Tourism politics in Lithuania is also based on development of cultural tourism. One of the underlying touristic markets in Lithuania is Izrael. The number of tourists from Izrael to Lithuania is growing. Lithuanian Seaside region has the potential for jewish cultural tourism but at the moment there are such problems as the lack of touristic routes. The workers of the tourism sector also lack the knowledge about this market and historic and cultural jewish heritage in the Seaside region.
