Abstract
The article deals with Lithuanian musical heritage in the USA and its integration into the culture of Lithuania. Music was one of the most popular adn accessible means for preserving their national identity. The proponents of musical life were church organizts. Due to church organists choral art in the USA was flourishing and Lithuanian church hymns and folk songs became popular, which was a great contribution to the preservation of Lithuanian culture.
