Abstract
Failures caused by corrosion as well as their reasons and process of failures mechanism are analyzed in this work. The Main factors influencing the rate of corrosive process and methods used to decrease intensity of these processes are discussed in the article. Quantitative characteristics of ship pipeline relability, which allow to evalute residual operational resource ofpipeline elements are measured.
