Pajūrio juostinis krantovaizdis – kranto zonos gamtinio karkaso pagrindas

The paper applies the littoral natural frame concept based on the littoral linear landscapes’ approach for the case-study of the dune coasts of the Curonian Spit. According to this approach, the components and functions of the littoral natural frame are similar to the components and functions of the territorial natural frame. The zones of sediment input, i.e., river mouths, eroded cliffs or foreshore banks represent the geoecological divides, which are the sources of material spread downdrift along the lift oral drift (“migration”) corridors.
