Abstract (en)
The abstract deals with the photosynthetic pigment of phytoplankton chlorophyll "a" distribution in the littoral zone and in the open area of the Kuršių Marios Lagoon. Researches of this parameter in the Kuršių Marios Lagoon were carried out since 1984. There were observed that the maximum concentrations of the chlorophyll "a" were in the near shore helophyte communities. Much lower concentrations of this pigment were in littoral zone, covered by potameides.
