Abstract
The article deals with the regional disparities of tourism development in Lithuania according to indicators of tourism statistics. The research is based on the analysis of various geographical factors, which are influencing the formation of regional disparities related to tourism itself. The areas which are appropriate for laky, hilly and forested landscape, the fertility of soil is low, these areasare significant for higher recreational potential and tourism devepolment.
