The research on dynamics, modeling and the results of experimental tests of the rotor system rotating in aerostatic bearing with a floating bush or without it is presented in this article. The dependence of rotor vibration intensity on the waviness of the cylinder surfaces of bearing elements was tested and simulated. It was confirmed experimentally that the amplitude of rotor vibration in aerostatic bearing with double air film is basically lower than the one in aerostatic bearing with single air film. The kinetic orbits of the rotor shaft vibration displacements are presented. Dynamic and mathematical models constructed enable to design bearings that distinct optimal according to the vibration intensity under the certain combinations of the internal surface waviness amplitude and number of waves of a bearing.
