Operating characteristics of the oscillating synchronous electrical motors can be visualized graphically by level lines of chosen parameter plotted in a complex plane of current or mechanical impedance of a load. In this way the influence of constructional factors and non-linear features of electrical, magnetic and mechanical parts can be easily taken into account and analyzed on purpose of comprehensive research of basic operational properties of the motor. The study of characteristics has disclosed the effect of amplitude self-stabilization within a limited range of inertial load.
