Development of creativity of senior pupils in the music class

The article reveals the research of development of senior pupils'creativity in the music class. Using the observation method, creative expression of 9-10 form pupils and peculiarities of its development in the music class has been analysed. It has been established that most often the creativity is being developed in the activities of creation and/or improvisation. In other music class activities such as singing, playing, music cognition in the social cultural environment creativity is being developed rather listlessly, the lack of more various education methods, questions and tasks of divergential type that facilitate pupil's creativity is felt. Although an educator dominates in most of music lessons as a renderer of information and tasks; also the expression of pupils'creativity may be envisaged, especially during listening to music, its description, and evaluation.
