Abstract
About 80 % of the navigational accidents ships have in port and port areas. One of the most difficult place – port entrance channels, where is necessary to have very high navigational accuracy and ship sailing control. Navigational systems, which are use now in narrow channels, can not assist too much and in many cases is necessary to use combination of the navigational systems and traditional navigational methods. In this paper are presented investigation results of the different navigational systems and methods in the ports entrance channels in different conditions.
