Abstract (en)
Shipping continues to be the important mode of transport in the international trade. More than 90% of international cargo moves through seaports and 80% of the sea borne cargo move in containers through major seaports. [2] The goal here is to project the ongoing and future projects and implementation of recent technologies at ICTT so as to assure faster container handling & dispatch operations at Kochi port as observed with the container handling operations carried out in Klaipeda port.
