With ongoing changes of social behaviour pointing to the crisis of personality development, today's society witnesses changing models of education strategy and training. Changing social life with a new economy and culture system as often as not is characterised as a capitalism of corporations which reflects a certain transformation of reality and distorts a sense of values. Rising crime, aggression, mind disorder of a personality which manifest themselves as depression, neurosis and other deformations of human relationships bring about a change in the approach towards education of a man as well as raise new tasks to educology. A modern conception of training process is based on psychology, sociology, philosophy, theology and other similar sciences of education of a man. A conception of socio-cultural values integrated in educology sets a new benchmark for education aiming at the main purpose to improve a person and society. A strategy of postmodern educology is related with interdisciplinarity, integration of subjects, mastering of information technologies and a project-based activity. The article addresses distinctions of postmodern educology: national identity and transformation of values.
Straipsnyje kreipiamas dėmesys į postmodernios edukologijos distinkcijas: tautinę tapatybę ir vertybių transformaciją. Postmodernioji edukologija diagnozuoja ugdymo pokyčius ir pagal situaciją prognozuoja perspektyvas vertybių ugdymui arba ugdymo technologijų plėtotei. Abiems atvejais pasinaudojama fenomenologine įžvalga vertybių ir asmens tapatumo klausimais.
