Abstract (en)
This paper deals with the contribution of Petras Armonas to developing of chamber-instrumental music in Lithuania and USA. Armonas was a pioneer in chamber music in the inter-war period in Lithuania and put many efforts to attract listeners to this kind of concerts. Living in emigration he spread chamber music for education of countymen. He endeavoured to integrate artistic astivities of Lithuanian as a closed ethnic community into the USA cultural life.
