Straipsnyje aptariamas gyvenimo lygio rodiklių taikymas moksliniuose gyvenimo lygio tyrimuose. Išnagrinėtas gyvenimo lygio rodiklių skirstymas į objektyviuosius ir subjektyviuosius. Aprašomos rodiklių funkcijos, susijusios su informacijos apie gyvenimo lygį perteikimu, trūkumais ir privalumais. Tam tikrų gyvenimo lygio rodiklių aprašymas pereina į jų taikymo tendencijų nustatymą. Šiame straipsnyje šiuolaikinis gyvenimo lygio rodiklių taikymo apibūdinimas siejamas su istorine rodiklių geneze.

Abstract (en)

The article deals with the application of indicators in scientific research of the standard of living. It will examine the division of indicators of standard of living into objective and subjective ones, describes the function of the indicators to convey the information, weaknesses and strengths. The description of separate indicators of the standard of living is followed by the description of their applications. In this article the application of indicators of the standard of living is related to their historical genesis
