In this article there are present the research in to pedagogues' competence that was carried out and generalized by the authors. The object of the research is the assessment of the graduates of teacher training schools and colleges of their competences in professional activities, with the aim of contributing to the definition of trends of improving vocational training at colleges and universities. The peculiarities of pedagogues under the conditions of changing and improving schools, the school atmosphere, its interaction with community, i. e. schoolchildren, school workers and parents were analyzed. The competence of pedagogues, the content and improvement of it depends on the social culture of the school, pedagogical conditions, environmental changes and education's level.
