Abstract (en)

The article deals with the details of national costumes of lietuvininkai (inhabitants of Lithuania Minor) - elements of delmonas patterns, their ways of composition, use of ornaments and types. The author analyses the prototypes and sources of different needle-work and different elements of patterns and compositions that might have influenced needlework of lietuvininkai. Delmonas is not present in other costumes of Lithuanian ethnograpic regions; however, Estonian, Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian national costumes of other neighbours have similar attributes.
