A child starts painting/drawing quite early - in his pre-school years, but he is not able to picture objects yet. The ability to picture develops and improves gradually. Expression is one of the most interesting features of the child's picturing. The expression in the paintings of children can manifest itself in different ways. These ways are discussed in this article.
