Poetika - labai plati sąvoka, naudojama tiek dainos, tiek ir bet kurio eiliuoto teksto analizei. Atskiro įvaizdžio analizė - esminė priemonė dainos poetinei visumai atskleisti. Mergina - moteris - motina (apibendrintai - moteris) - tradiciškai centrinė figūra visoje liaudies kūryboje. Pamario krašto dainose šis įvaizdis nuo seniausių laikų turi specifinių bruožų. Įvaizdžio specifiškumas suvokiamas skirtingumu nuo tradicinės šio įvaizdžio traktuotės: nuolankumas, paklusnumas, prisitaikymas, liūdesys - būdingiausi dainų moters bruožai. Specifiniu ir išskirtiniu įvaizdis laikomas pavyzdžiuose, kuriuose dainų moteris: drąsi, išdidi, savarankiška, nepriklausoma. Šie bruožai pasireiškia tik tam tikrose situacijose: 1) dirbant, 2) renkantis porą (bendraujant su tėvais ir berneliu) ir kt. Pastarojo įvaizdžio išskirtinumas motyvuojamas lyginant Pamario krašto tautosakos šaltiniuose užrašytus pavyzdžius su kitų Lietuvos regionų įvairių tautosakos žanrų atitikmenimis.
We understand poetry as wide definition, possible to use in analysis of folk songs and any other poetic texts. The analysis of all the separate images is the best way to show the poetic panorama of all the folk song. The lass - woman - mother (in general - woman) traditionally is the main figure in all the forms of folklore creation. This image is very specific in Lithuanian seashore region. We can stress the main features of this image, such as submission, obedience, adaptation and sadness in the poetry of all the Lithuanian folk songs. The local woman features there are quite different in the poetry of Lithuanian seashore songs. We can find the image of woman as bold, proud, self-dependent or at least independent person here. Those features use to develop in the specific situations, such as during the work process and looking for husband as a rule. Presented here article is devoted to develop all the features of female poetic images in Lithuanian seashore folk songs, comparing them with the poetry of folk songs from other Lithuanian ethnic regions.
