Appropriate nursing and rehabilitation influence good quality of life in patients after cardiac revascularization operation. The aim of the study was to analyze the features of nursing in cardio revascularization operation patients in rehabilitation units. The contingent was 110 patients after cardiac revascularization operation and 70 nurses at rehabilitation units. The methods: data were collected by questionnaire. Most of patients after cardiac revascularization operation take care by themselves; partial help is required to 9.1%, p≤0.05. Most of patients their health evaluate as moderately (81.8%), another part (18.2%) – badly or very badly. Health problems due to pain in chest remain in 17.3%, due to short breath – in 16.4%, due to heart rhythm disturbances – in 16.4%. They have and psychological problems: increased sensitiveness in 38.2%, emotional tension in 30.9%, feeling of loneliness in 9.1%, depressed mood in 7.3% patients. Only 22.7% of respondents have no emotional problems. During nursing process 68.2% of patients report, that nurses give them enough knowledge about health. Only 48.2% of patients are satisfied with nursing quality in rehabilitation. There are reported lack of knowledge about glucose, lipid control, stress avoidance and management, sexual life questions and the benefit of prescribed rehabilitation implements. Nurses reported that they have not enough knowledge about commonly occurred complications after surgery (short breath, pain), also reported the lack of time to talk to patients (61.7%). Most of time takes other nursing related procedures (wound dressing, taking of blood pressure, medicine distribution and etc.).
