Abstract (en)
The article aims at providing a theoretical framework for studies of national school leadership development system. The first part of the article provides an insight on main concepts and notions in leadership development and highlights the organization of school leadership development system. Approaches and methods used to support continuing professional learning of school leaders are introduced as well. The second part of the article provides an overview on critical issues in leadership development. As the result, the theoretical model for the analysis of leadership development system is introduced.
