Abstract (en)
The aim of this work is to evaluate the efficacy of using Kangaroo method for premature infants nursing. Research methods: observation of preterm infants, analysis of nursing documentations, interrogation of 200 mothers, who had premature newborns. Research results showed that a lot of mothers have been in stress, non-plussed, sorrowed; they feel compunction and angst. However after the interaction with nurses and participation in nursing process they feel calmer and have one's faith in themselves. Maternal emotions intensified and manifested in fears for the baby's well-being and a need to discuss negative and positive emotional reactions to having a premature baby.
