Abstract (en)
The article deals with the methods of tribological research of nanostructured coatings. There are discussed several new testing and research methods of nanostryctured coatings and their tribological and mechanical properties. Today technology and mechanical engineering faces the challenge - the wear of machinery and new nanostructured coatings can help decide an issue, since their hardness, high wear resistance, very low friction and enhanced adhesion. The wear mechanisms and structural characterization of thin films are usually researching before and after high contact stresses. It helps to study and improve properties of coatings and makes this tribosystems an excellent for tribological applications.
