Slaugos intensyvumo skalės naudojimas tobulinant slaugos kokybės valdymą

Abstract

The article deals with the implementation of intensive nursing care scale to improve quality of nursing care management. In this article there is analyzed results of intensive care scale creation and implementation in 5 units of Klaipėda Seamen's Hospital. The number of nursing care service in each unit was evaluated related to individual nursing care indicator of intensity of each unit and related to indicator of total nursing care intensity of all service at the unit. The originally developed Nursing Intensity Scale (NIS) was divided to ten different levels evaluated by nursing intensity points. Research results showed that the highest level of nursing care intensity as a biggest work loading of nurse from all 5 cardio logical units in Intensive care unit.
