Abstract (en)
On the basis of authentic historical materials from the Lithuanian State Central Archives, including a number of Lithuanian and Klaipėda newspaper publications during the period between WWI and WWII, and also with refernce to works by radio resercher Stasys Štikelis, this article analyzes the history of creation of Klaipėda radiobroadcast services (from 1936 to 1939, known as "Klaipėdos Radiofonas") and its activities in the context of the history and content of Lithuanian Radio programs.
