The use in 2022 of new LiDAR data (E. Naujalis) in Lithuania led to the identification of 38 unknown hillforts (Fig. 1), which are briefly described by giving their location, succinct data about the enclosure, defensive installations, condition (Figs. 12, 16, 23, 31, 36, 41, 45, 48, 50), finds (Figs. 4, 18, 20, 32, 37, 39, 42, 51), dating, and the precise time of their discovery (other individuals pointed out 7 hillforts). Because the majority of the newly discovered hillforts are in forests, only their LiDAR images are given in the illustrations (source: digital spatial laser scanning points data of the spatial data set of the territory of the Republic of Lithuania Lidar_DR_LT © National Land Service under the Ministry of the Environment, 2019–2021) (Figs. 2, 3, 5–12, 13–15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24–30, 33–35, 38, 40, 43–45, 46, 47, 49, 52–56).
