Abstract (en)
The article consists of two parts: 1) Mysteries of an outstanding Lithuanian composer and pianist V.Bacevičius life 2) V.Bacevičius on Music, Musicians and Himself. This article tries to help to perceive the multilateral world-outlook of the artist and to analyse his attitude to music, musicians and to himself. The analysis is carried out on the basis of V.Bacevičius' articles published in the periodicals of the USA as well as his letters to J.Žilevičius deposited in the Chicago Lithuanian Research and Studies Center.
