A Lithuanian writer, pedagogue M.Pečkauskaitė - Šatrijos Ragana showed a great concern for a spiritual development of the girl. In this article the author reveals the ways by which the writer in her book „Mergaitės kelias“ ("The Girl's way") proposes the girl to seek eternal values, develop respect for people, love to one another, work and Motherland.
