Abstract
Safety of sea transportation significantly depends on human activities, in particular crew team must consist of qualified and healthy professionals. Work-related fatigue may cause a mental or physical health problems resulting in increased accident and injury risk. Relatively little is known about fatigue among seafarers, especially during short-distance trip. One of the ways to explore the physical condition of the sailors is a persistent heart rate recording during the trip.
