Abstract
The authors of the article examine the financial literacy of households. They cover the conception of financial literacy, analyse its methods of evaluation. The study by the authors discover that the financial literacy of household should be formed as conceptual system, which includes not only the financial knowledge, but also the perception of that knowledge, financial skills and rational financial behaviour.
