The article presents an analysis of some unique imported objects recently found in Lithuania. These include three T-shaped hinge brooches and one symmetrical brooch, as well as some other rare pieces from the Lielupe Basin. these new finds show that the region experienced rapid social, economic and cultural change, and the power struggles can be viewed as efforts to control the major inland waterways, namely, the Mūša and Lielupe rivers. In addition, the structure of settlement in the region - forming micro-regions - shows that the communities of certain areas were involved in administrative and cultural contacts on various levels. The communities that managed to control this region also commanded access to the Baltic Sea. The material culture of this region reflects extensive inter-regional contacts and shows that during the early Migration Age a stratum of people holding high social status developed here, and a variety of insignia were imported for their needs.
rakstā analizēti pēdējā laikā Lietuvā atrasti unikāli importa izstrādājumi. TO vidū ir trīs šarnīra T veida un viena simetriska sakta, arī daži citi reti izstrādājumi, kas atrasti Lielupes baseinā. Šie jaunie atradumi liecina, ka reģionā notika straujas sociālas, ekonomiskas un kulturālas izmaiņas, bet cīņas par varu pielīdzināmas pūlēm kontrolēt nozīmīgus iekšzemes ūdensceļus, t. i., Mūsu un Lielupi. Bez tam reģiona apdzīvotības struktūra - mikroreģioni - rāda, ka dažu reģionu kopienas bija saistītas ar dažāda līmeņa administratīvajiem un kultūras sakariem. Kopienas, kuras mācēja kontrolēt šo reģionu, arī pārvaldīja pieeju Baltijas jūrai. Aplūkojamā reģiona materiālā kultūra atspoguļo plašus starpreģionālus kontaktus un liecina, ka agrajā tautu staigāšanas laikmetā šeit izveidojās augsta sociāla statusa cilvēku slānis, kura vajadzībām tika importētas dažādas insignijas.
