Šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje žmogaus sveikata užima svarbią vietą asmens gyvenime. Paaugliai – visos visuomenės ateitis, tad būtina rūpintis jų sveikata, padėti jiems patiems ją ugdytis. Sparčiai besivystančios visuomenės kontekste iškyla nauji metodologiniai ir praktiniai uždaviniai socialinės sveikatos ugdymui, tad efektyvus sveikatos ugdymas yra prioritetinė mokytojų veikla. Tyrimo objektas: paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymas(is). Tyrimo tikslas - teoriškai ir empiriškai ištirti paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) ypatumus Klaipėdos miesto progimnazijose bei sukurti moksliškai pagrįstą paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) mokykloje teorinį hipotetinį modelį. Šiam tikslui pasiekti, iškelti uždaviniai: 1) Atskleisti paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) teorinius pagrindus; 2) ištirti mokytojų nuomonę apie paauglių sveikatos ugdymo ypatumus Klaipėdos miesto progimnazijose; 3) ištirti paauglių nuomonę apie savo socialinę sveikatą bei jos ugdymosi ypatumus Klaipėdos miesto progimnazijose; 4) sukurti moksliškai pagrįstą paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) mokykloje teorinį hipotetinį modelį. Darbe naudoti metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė, informacijos analizė ir sintezė, loginis-konstruktyvinis, duomenų grupavimo metodas, apklausa raštu (anketavimas), statistinė duomenų analizė, aprašomoji statistika, grafinio vaizdavimo metodas. Šį darbą sudaro du skyriai. Pirmajame skyriuje analizuojama mokslinė literatūra apie socialinės sveikatos koncepciją, socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) prielaidas paauglystės amžiuje. Aptariami paauglystės fenomeno aspektai ugdymo procese, paauglių socialinės sveikatos būklė Lietuvoje ir jiems įtaką darantys veiksniai. Išryškinami pedagogo vaidmenys ir kompetencijos ugdant paauglių socialinę sveikatą. Išskiriami socialinės sveikatos dėmenys: socialinis sąmoningumas ir kultūra, bendravimas, rizikingo elgesio prevencija, gebėjimas sėkmingai integruotis visuomenėje. Antrajame skyriuje pateikiami paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) Klaipėdos miesto progimnazijose tyrimo apibendrinti, struktūruoti rezultatai. Ištirta, jog pedagogai, ugdydami paauglių socialinę sveikatą, daugiausia dėmesio skiria socialinės sveikatos ugdymo veiksniams, o paauglius ugdymosi procese labiausiai veikia išoriniai ir vidiniai veiksniai. Ištirta, jog beveik pusė apklaustų paauglių savo socialinę sveikatą vertina gerai, o ir tiek pat mokytojų savo mokinių socialinę sveikatą taip pat vertina gerai. Sukūrus paauglių socialinės sveikatos ugdymo(si) mokykloje teorinį hipotetinį modelį, sudarytos rekomendacijos mokyklų vadovams bei mokytojams. Paulauskas J. Object of the research: the development and self-development of adolescents' social health. Aim of the research - to investigate the peculiarities of adolescents‘ social health developemnt in Klaipėda city progymnasiums and to create a scientifically based theoretical hypothetical model of adolescents‘ social health development and self-development at school. Objectives: 1) to reveal the theoretical foundations of adolescent social health development and self-development; 2) to investigate teachers' opinion on peculiarities of adolescent health development in Klaipeda city progymnasiums; 3) to investigate teenagers' opinion on their social health and peculiarities of its self-development in Klaipėda city progymnasiums; 4) to create a scientifically based theoretical hypothetical model of adolescent social health development and self-development at school. Methods of the research: scientific literature analysis, analysis and synthesis of information, logical-constructive, data grouping method, written survey (questionnaire), statistical data analysis, descriptive statistics, graphical representation method. The first chapter of this thesis analyzes the scientific literature on the concept of social health, the assumptions of social health development and self-development in adolescence. Aspects of the phenomenon of adolescence in the education process, the social health status of adolescents in Lithuania and the factors influencing them are discussed. The sections of social health are distinguished: social awareness and culture, communication, prevention of risky behavior, ability to integrate successfully in society. The second chapter presents the structured results of the research on the development and self-development of adolesents‘ social health in Klaipėda city progymnasiums. It was investigated that teachers focus on the factors of social health development when developing social health, while adolescents are mostly influenced by external and internal factors in the process of self-development. Nearly half of the surveyed adolescents value their social health well, and so many teachers also value their students' social health well. Creating a theoretical hypothetical model of adolescents' social health development and self-development at school has made recommendations for school leaders and teachers.
